Refunds

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective October 22, 2026. How trials, cancelling and refunds work on TrackWP’s paid plans.

This policy covers the paid plans, Boost and FullCharge. Read it with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Payments are taken by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record.

1. Starter

Starter is free. It needs no subscription and has no charge to refund.

2. Free trials

The first time you subscribe to Boost or FullCharge, monthly or yearly, you get a 7-day free trial; each account gets one trial. You add a payment method at checkout, and the first charge happens when the trial ends. Cancel in Billing before then and you aren’t charged. If the trial ends without a cancellation, that first charge is an ordinary paid period under the sections below.

3. How to cancel

Cancel any time from the Billing page in your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then move to Starter. Until then you can change your mind and resume. Nothing is deleted when a plan ends: products over Starter’s limits are paused, and come back when you subscribe again.

4. Refunds

  • Who handles payments. Dodo Payments collects payments, issues invoices, handles tax and processes refunds, under its own buyer terms and the law.
  • How to ask. Email support@trackwp.com from the address on your TrackWP account, with the rough date of the charge. We, or Dodo Payments, will look at it under this policy.
  • When we refund. Duplicate charges, clear billing errors, and wherever the law gives you the right to one, including cooling-off periods and consumer rights in your country.
  • Goodwill. In other cases, such as unused time shortly after a first charge, we may refund part or all of it at our discretion, especially soon after that first charge. Heavy use of paid features or repeated requests may be declined.
  • What we don’t usually refund. Unless the law says otherwise: a paid period that has ended, or one you’ve used substantially, because you changed your mind; and disagreement with WordPress.org data, estimates or rankings, which are informational only.

5. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, Dodo Payments and we may pause your access while the dispute is open. Please contact us first: most billing problems are quicker to fix by email.

6. Plan changes

  • Upgrades start straight away. Within the same billing period you pay the prorated difference and keep your billing date; moving from monthly to yearly charges the full year now, minus what’s left of your month.
  • Downgrades take effect at your next billing date. You keep the bigger plan until then, so there’s no refund for the rest of the period.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal can’t be charged, your plan stays active for a short while and the dashboard asks you to update your card. If it still isn’t paid, paid features pause until it is; nothing is deleted. Update your card in Billing under Invoices and card.

Plans and prices are on the pricing page.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and paying subscribers hear about material changes by email where the law requires it.
